Welcome to Simpson Law Offices
We help business owners and entrepreneurs establish, grow and profit from their enterprises. We serve as general counsel to companies and perform ongoing legal audit activities to minimize legal risk and address issues before they become legal problems.

Our Mission
We will proactively assist businesses and business owners to identify risks and establish plans to manage them. By understanding our clients’ businesses, we can provide business and legal solutions that will allow our clients to achieve their goals.

The Principal of the Firm – Randy D. Simpson
Mr. Simpson founded the firm to provide focused legal assistance and business consultative assistance to small and mid-sized businesses. Prior to founding the firm he had assisted a considerable number of businesses in several capacities: as in-house counsel, as outside legal counsel to businesses, as a business manager and as a business owner. This variety of experience for more than 20 years has provided him with the invaluable ability to understand legal issues from the perspectives of business owners and managers.

Consequently, he can assist business owners through the maze of laws and regulations in order to successfully accomplish their objectives. He can assist in the preparation of strategies that will accomplish their objectives while maintaining compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements. These strategies can substantially reduce costs for clients. The strategies can achieve objectives while avoiding legal expenses and minimizing the legal risks that can result in substantial legal liabilities. Clients have found this experience to be very valuable.

In addition to Mr. Simpson's experience assisting businesses directly, his experience has included several years working with business tax law issues for the Governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan. In this capacity he acquired a solid understanding of the tax laws that affect businesses. Since the tax considerations of operating a business are extraordinarily important to the ultimate profitability, his tax experience can assist in establishing a sound tax strategy.

Mr. Simpson believes that as the practice of law has evolved (with the increasing importance of computerization, on-line legal research facilities, telecommunications and the Internet), smaller law firms can assist clients very efficiently and effectively – often much more economically and effectively than larger firms. He provides the solid core of the law firm’s operations. This core of expertise is then supplemented by associations with other lawyers whose skills complement Mr. Simpson's skills.

Mr. Simpson is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, having been awarded both a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He has also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course.

With state-of-the-art telecommunications capabilities, you have the option of receiving legal assistance without numerous personal visits, if you wish, to reduce your costs and to save the time that would be required by a personal meeting. To save you time, Mr. Simpson may be available to meet with you in your office.
